Taylor's five-week CNA course is published at $1,600. That tuition covers instruction and listed course items, including the background check, name badge, and uniforms. Missouri's separate state competency tests currently total $135 for first attempts. See what is included, what is paid later, and the ways you can plan for tuition.
A simple breakdown
One course fee. A separate state exam.
The academy's tuition is $1,600. The state knowledge test is $32 and the practical skills test is $103 at current published rates, paid separately through the state testing process after the course. Together, tuition and first test attempts come to $1,735 before any conditional school charge or retake. Taylor does not collect the exam fee as tuition.

What comes with tuition
Your tuition supports hands-on preparation.
The course combines classroom instruction, skills lab practice, and supervised clinical training over five weeks. Taylor's published tuition includes the criminal background check, name badge, and uniforms. Books are loaned during the course. The current enrollment agreement explains supplies and return conditions for your class.
A few costs depend on what happens during or after class
Taylor lists the following additional charges:
- $70 for loaned books that are damaged or not returned.
- $35 for a CNA binder; ask whether this applies to every student.
- $15 for an additional transcript request.
State exam retakes, if needed, are separate. Get the current agreement before you plan a final total.
Ways to plan
You have a place to start while choosing how to pay.
Some students self-pay. Others may qualify for the Missouri Fast Track Workforce Incentive Grant or explore optional Climb Credit financing. Each route has its own terms and decisions. Taylor can explain tuition timing and the enrollment agreement while you consider your options.
Self-pay with Taylor
Ask admissions what is due before class and which methods are accepted. Taylor currently lists Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, and Cash App; get instructions directly from staff.
Missouri Fast Track grant
Eligible students may apply through the state. Missouri decides awards through a process separate from Taylor admission.

Get the agreement for your class before you pay.
Ask Taylor for current due dates, any installment arrangement, withdrawal and refund terms, and supplies required for your cohort. A dated agreement is the source for those terms. You can request it as soon as you speak with admissions.
