What a week looks like
Plan for a full weekday course.
The published hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Your first two weeks are at the academy, 824 Main St in Grandview. The following three weeks are supervised clinical training at Carnegie Village in Belton on the current schedule. If you need to coordinate work, childcare, or transportation, begin that conversation now.

By the end, you will have practiced care in two settings
In the classroom and lab, you learn the reasons behind each skill and repeat it until the steps make sense. During clinical training, you bring those habits into resident care under supervision. The course is 175 hours in all. After course completion, the separate Missouri competency exam is the next step toward certification.

Tuition is published at $1,600. Eligible students may be able to seek Missouri Fast Track support, and Taylor can explain self-pay and optional Climb Credit financing. You can begin the school admissions conversation while you work out which payment route fits.
